Container cleaning and crushing system

Used steel and plastic drums have presented a disposal issue to many industries; Aquasol Products is now importing the Drumbeaters range from the US to help address this problem.

The Drumbeater range is capable of washing the interior of containers sized up to 1000 L and processing the waste solvent and water. The equipment will pressure wash the containers using high-temperature water and/or solvents, and in some cases then crush steel drums to less than 75 mm high.

With this equipment, the crushing can be performed in the same chamber where the wash step is performed. Also, the user has the flexibility of either washing and re-using the drums or washing and destroying the drums. Steel drums which were an expense to dispose of are now of value as clean scrap metal.

An important factor is the savings offered by installing washing and/or crushing equipment where containers must otherwise be stored, transported and disposed of as prescribed waste containers.

As this can be a significant and continual expense, the cost effectiveness of on-site container processing equipment is obvious.
