savewater! awards calling for nominations

The savewater! awards are calling for entrants for the 2006 program, which recognises and awards outstanding achievement in water conservation.
The awards are an initiative of the savewater! Alliance Inc, an alliance of metropolitan and regional water businesses from Victoria and New South Wales.
For the first time, the awards will extend beyond Victoria with the "˜product innovations' category open nationally.
This year there are 10 award categories:
- Manufacturing
- Primary Industries
- Product Innovations
- Regional Business
- Service Providers
- Built Environment
- Community Action
- Education Programs
- Garden Management
- Government
Nominations for this year's awards close on 18 October during National Water Week. Winners will be announced at a gala event on 23 March 2007.
