IFAT China 2006 coming up

IFAT China 2006 held 27 "“ 30 June offers a broadly structured accompanying program. This examines the entire spectrum of areas relevant to environmental protection in Asia: from water supply, sewage treatment and waste disposal to recycling, air pollution control and environmental technology right down to environmentally compatible forms on energy in Asia.

At the event Chinese and international experts will discuss and report on innovations, developments and trends in the environmental industry in over 100 events. The subjects include:

  • the water market in China, water supply networks
  • membrane technology
  • waste management
  • renewable energy
  • sewage sludge and biogas
  • control of air pollution.

The companies at IFAT China can demonstrate their products and services to the audience from the trade. Apart from the technical and scientific accompanying program, there is also a series of special events.

For example, an Environmental Special is dedicated to the provinces of Guangdong and Shangdong and the Free State of Bavaria. The regions will be presenting their environmental protection programs and innovations in environmental technology. In a round of discussion, high-ranking political representatives of the provinces will converse with Bravarian environment minister Dr. Werner Schnappauf about points of view and prospects in environment protection.

In the Asia Special, the countries of China, Japan and Korea are the centre of attention. For these markets, a series of technical talks, rounds of discussion and exhibitor presentations are offered.

The BHI Design Institute Day is a platform for planners, designers, management and the authorities. It facilitates the exchange of expert knowledge in combining modern, sophisticated architecture with environmental technology. Here interested exhibitors can meet representatives of design institutes and the Chinese authorities and speak about scientific as well as technical cooperation.
