Adopt-A-Site in 2008 with Clean Up Australia

Friday, 01 February, 2008

Every year, more and more volunteers get involved in Clean Up Australia Day but with support from businesses so much more could be done.

Adopting a site is an immediate way to support and contribute to vital funding of this community event and demonstrate your organisation’s commitment to the community and to the environment.

Also, businesses can take part in Business Clean Up Day, an initiative designed for Australian businesses and employees to work as a team and make a difference in the local community or the workplace.

Businesses can participate by either:

1. Registering a site — purchase a Business Clean Up Day Kit and clean up or rehabilitate a local street, park, bushland or waterway; or,

2. Registering an office — purchase a Business Office Kit and implement environmentally sustainable initiatives.

There are three levels of support for Adopt-A-Site:

  • Framed adoption certificate
  • Invitation for three representatives to attend a networking opportunity with Ian Kiernan AO
  • Listed on Business Clean Up page of Clean Up Australia website as a Gold Supporter
