Web forum provides facilities with tools to achieve energy savings

Friday, 27 February, 2009

Fluke Corporation has established a web forum, Action Eco, giving managers a place to learn low-cost energy-saving techniques and share their own ideas and experiences.

With the recent carbon pollution reduction scheme announced by the Australian government, Australian companies need to seek as many ways as possible to reduce their greenhouse emissions.

The web forum helps organisations find ways to reduce their carbon footprint while cutting energy costs and increasing operational efficiency.

The forum also explains the ‘why’ behind energy conservation, provides resources to cut energy use and gives visitors the opportunity to sign up and get involved.

ActionEco.org provides straightforward information for taking action on energy including:

  • the top five places to scan commercial buildings;
  • best practices for energy savings;
  • what to expect from an energy audit.
