Water Industry Alliance appoints new board of directors
The Water Industry Alliance (WIA) - a cluster comprising international national and local water companies - has elected its board of directors for 2014-15.
Elected at the WIA annual general meeting, the new directors include the following:
- Judith Bradsen - Cowell Clarke
- Robran Cock - Trility
- Keith Downard - Tonkin Consulting
- Michael LeVene - APC Integration
- Jim McGuire - SA Water
- Andrew Sarich - RPC Technologies
- Philip Verco - Fyfe
- Alister Walsh - Waterfind Australia
- Tim Waterhouse - Sentek
According to WIA CEO Andy Roberts, “This year saw a strongly competed election at a well-attended AGM that has once again formed a very well-equipped and professional board to guide the WIA through 2015.” Roberts said he is looking forward to working with these directors over the next 12 months “to drive the next level for the water industry” and thanked the previous directors for their contributions.
New director Alister Walsh said, “WIA’s efforts to promote the Australian water management business acumen beyond the country borders has been, and will continue to be, instrumental for creating a strong and sustainable industry and business environment. I look forward to working with this group of highly achieving and performing professionals.”
