Top award for water treatment company in UK town
B & V Water Treatment, one of the UK’s largest Legionella control and water treatment companies, which began life in a pig shed over 30 years ago, has been named Business of the Year at the annual Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards which recognise top performance among hundreds of companies across the East Midlands county.
The awards, sponsored by the Royal Mail and HSBC, among others, are organised in association with Northants Chamber. B & V Water Treatment also scored highly for its strong focus on environmental innovation, with one scheme seeing the company recycle a quarter of a million empty chemical drums which, if stacked on top of each other, would have been higher than Mount Everest.
