Seqwater appoints new CEO
Seqwater - the Queensland Government statutory authority responsible for ensuring a reliable bulk water supply across South-East Queensland - has appointed Peter Dennis as its new CEO.
Chairman Noel Faulkner said Dennis has been very ably acting in the role since December and brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of delivery to the job.
“Peter has an extensive background in the water sector, providing leadership across Australia, the Asia Pacific and New Zealand,” Faulkner said.
“A chemical engineer by profession, Peter has held executive leadership roles at both Hunter Water Corporation and Hunter Water Australia. His expertise spans strategic planning, capital portfolio management, infrastructure planning and delivery, strategic operations and water resource management.
“Peter also established and led one of the largest operational and process engineering teams in the Australian water industry.”
Dennis said it is an exciting time for the water industry and he relishes the opportunity to lead Seqwater to deliver even greater value to the South-East Queensland community.
