Schneider Electric now MESA certified
Schneider Electric has achieved the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association’s Certificate of Competency. The company is the first vendor certified in Australia by MESA, an international global community of manufacturers, producers, industry leaders and solution providers that focuses on improving operations management capabilities through technology solutions and best practice.
MES is said to be highly accepted in Europe and the United States and Alison Koh, Product Manager for SCADA and MES, Schneider Electric, Industry Business, says those undertaking the certificate of competency will help breed best practice in Australia with a strong focus on operations metrics, process modelling and architecture.
“Customers will see numerous benefits from embracing MES. It can help improve business results and production operations through optimised application and implementation of IT and best management practices,” she said.
“The data that can be aggregated from using the operations management software can also assist in managing assets and downtime in equipment more effectively and can help plant and operations make more validated decisions,” said Koh.
