Roundtable for climate change leaders
The Ethos Foundation and Green Cross Australia are presenting a one-day "Leading for the Future' roundtable on climate change at Queensland Parliament House on Wednesday 29 August.
The roundtable has been designed to facilitate ongoing dialogue between community, business and local government leaders and researchers preparing to face the challenge of climate change.
The roundtable will be led by keynote speaker Professor Thomas Homer-Dixon and panellists such as the Hon Rod Welford, Dr John Cole, Ian Dunlop, Associate Professor Janette Hartz-Karp, Monica Ritcher and Dr Graeme Pearman.
With nearly 200 invited representatives and scholars, the roundtable will explore the longer-term implications for community and business governance of implementing effective measures to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change.
