Thursday, 10 January, 2008

Funding is now available for water- and energy-savings projects in public or education facilities through the NSW government's Climate Change Fund.

The Public Facilities Program will support projects which demonstrate how water and energy savings can work in practice.

Applications are open until 13 February 2008 for projects which:

  • improve the efficiency of buildings and appliances
  • reduce peak electricity demand
  • educate to increase the adoption of efficient technologies and practices
  • reduce the demand for electricity or water from supply networks - eg, cogeneration, fuel switching, water recycling, stormwater harvesting.
