New board members for Citywide
Open space, infrastructure and environmental services provider Citywide has appointed Peter Lamell and Paul Hardy as non-executive directors of the Citywide board.
To begin their roles on 1 July 2015, the new board members will replace outgoing director Peter Lowe, who will finish his services to the board at the AGM later this year after a nine-year contribution, and former chairman Mark Birrell, who stepped down in February this year. They bring with them more than 45 years’ combined expertise in corporate management and governance.
Hardy has held senior leadership positions at the international level and holds non-executive director roles on a number of boards. Lamell has held senior management roles for companies in the oil and gas, resources, infrastructure and telecommunications sectors, and has sat on more than 25 boards across diverse sectors.
According to Citywide Chairman John Brumby, Hardy and Lamell bring with them “critical experience and knowledge to further build a company that is financially sustainable and delivers the best possible outcomes to our customers, shareholder, employees, suppliers, the community and the environment”.
