REM/SKM merger announced
South Australian environmental consultancy REM has merged with Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) to form a groundwater assessment and management centre of excellence.
Headquartered in Adelaide, REM has a range of clients in the mining and metals, energy, defence, manufacturing and state/national government markets.
REM joins with engineering, sciences and project delivery firm SKM, which employs more than 6000 skilled professionals in offices across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the UK, the Middle East, Pacific and South America.
“This merger is about leveraging our combined strengths to respond to increasing client demand for environmental, groundwater-management and climate change solutions,” Sinclair Knight Merz chief executive Paul Dougas said.
