Lend Lease appoints group head of sustainability
Lend Lease has announced the appointment of Geoff Dutaillis to the role of group head of sustainability. Commencing in September, he will report to Group COO Dan Labbad.
Dutaillis has spent over 20 years in various senior roles in the property, construction and energy industries. He commenced his career at Lend Lease in 1986, before moving to Babcock & Brown as COO of the wind energy business. He was more recently COO at Infigen Energy, a specialist renewable energy business.
Labbad said he was “very pleased to welcome Geoff back to Lend Lease. Sustainability is a key operating principle at Lend Lease and an integral part of our culture and Geoff’s appointment is a demonstration of our ongoing commitment to this area.”
Labbad said Dutaillis will build on Lend Lease’s work in city regeneration projects - including Barangaroo South (Sydney), Victoria Harbour (Melbourne) and Elephant & Castle (London) - supporting the evolution of the company’s sustainability platform globally.
