Greenhouse-friendly certification awarded to carbon management consultancy
Carbon Planet, Australian-based carbon management consultancy has had its operations and services certified 'greenhouse friendly' by the Department of Climate Change.
According to Dave Sag, founder and executive director of Carbon Planet, being awarded the greenhouse friendly certification is a significant milestone for the business.
"Carbon Planet prides itself in striving to practise what it preaches to the business community and we are proud to be the first — and only — carbon management company to date to have our operations and services officially certified under the Department of Climate Change’s Greenhouse Friendly Initiative," Sag said.
To achieve certification under the federal government’s initiative, the company’s operations and services were subject to a rigorous analysis and verification process by an independent panel of experts appointed by the Australian Greenhouse Office.
The company’s services and operations range from audit and advisory services and corporate education to origination and personal carbon management through My Carbon Planet.
