GHD reaffirms relationship with Wannon Water
Professional services company GHD has extended its role as the sole provider of engineering services to Wannon Water, which delivers water and sewerage services across an area of more than 24,500 km2 in south-west Victoria.
GHD has been supporting Wannon Water continuously since 2006, during which time the company has helped Wannon Water deliver capital works valued at $250 million. Now, as part of a new contract, GHD will provide engineering, environmental, planning and related professional services to support the delivery of Wannon Water’s capital works program until the 2020–21 financial year, with potential contract extensions.
“We are deeply honoured to be awarded this contract,” said Mark Monaghan, GHD’s Water Market Leader, Victoria. “There can be no better sign of Wannon Water’s satisfaction with our services so far and their trust in our capacities for the future.”
“Looking beyond traditional engineering services, we will support Wannon Water in its mission of building stronger communities in south-west Victoria,” added Mark Trickey, GHD’s Manager – Water Technology, Victoria. “Our offering also includes a strong digital technology focus to unlock new insights and ways of working, and to help Wannon Water prepare for the challenges of the future.”
