Finalists for National Sustainable Business Awards announced
This month, New Zealand's top sustainable businesses will be gathering together in Auckland to celebrate their achievements, including energy efficiency programs, recycling, product innovation, involvement in the community and staff led initiatives.
The businesses, ranging from New Zealand's largest company through to tourism companies and not for profits, are all finalists in the Westpac National Sustainable Business Awards, created to promote and reward sustainable performance throughout the country.
"I believe that it is critically important that businesses make a contribution to society and the environment, in addition to their vital role in generating wealth. That's why I'm delighted to welcome so many inspirational businesses from around the country as finalists in the Westpac National Sustainable Business Awards," Ann Sherry, CEO of Westpac New Zealand said.
