Conference gets government support
Enviro 08, Australia’s Environmental and Sustainability Conference and Exhibition is set for Melbourne Exhibition Conference Centre 5 -7 May.
In recognition of its importance, the Victorian state government is supporting the event, which will be opened by Gavin Jennings, Minister for the Environment, Climate Change and Minister for Innovation.
Enviro’s position as Australia’s leading industry and business-to-business environmentally focused exhibition will be enhanced with the inclusion of the Australian Technology Showcase (ATS).
The ATS is a government initiative that will present about 50 Australian enterprises that produce innovative, cutting-edge technologies — many in response to pressing environmental challenges.
Fourteen international and Australian keynote speakers will take part in the conference, to assist in the in-depth examination of the challenges facing governments, manufacturers and planners.
Key streams for the conference include energy/climate, environmental innovation, facilitating change and sustainable cities, as well as water, waste and resource recovery.
Join around 6000 delegates and visitors, listen to 14 keynote addresses, attend over 50 sessions and workshops, contribute to the communiqué and network with the best.Registration to Enviro 08 is now on the website with the Early Bird discount in place until 7 March.
