Conference focuses on leading sustainable reform

The PACIA National Conference is on in Melbourne 16–18 June at the Bayview on the Park. The theme of the conference is Leading sustainable reform — a climate for change.

The program includes representatives from federal and state government as well as industry experts. The  'Sustainability Framework for Industry' guide will be launched, with this document setting the scene for the coming work with our members and government for the next few years.

The gala dinner will be held at the RACV City Club with the focus of the evening being the Responsible Care recommitment ceremony.  The PACIA Sustainability, Health, Safety and Environment Awards will be presented during the conference.

The Hon Peter Garrett, Minister for Environment, Heritage and the Arts, will make a special presentation during the Sustainability Launch on Monday 16 June, 6–8 pm. The Hon Theo Theophanous, Victorian Minister for Industry and Trade, Information and Communication Technology and Major Projects, is presenting the keynote address on Tuesday 17 June at 9.15 am.
