Australian Geographic Society awards night coming up
This year’s Australian Geographic (AG) Society Gala Awards will be held on 27 October. Established in 1987, the awards celebrate the best of Australian endeavour in adventure and conservation.
The event is expected to be a memorable night of inspiring people, amazing stories, great food and fine wine. Environmentalist Dr David Suzuki is flying in especially to be special guest speaker and show his support for Australian efforts in the conservation space.
The event will be held at the Sofitel Wentworth Grand Ballroom, 61–101 Phillip Street, Sydney. Tickets for last year’s awards sold out the month prior, so interested parties are encouraged to book now.
