ARBS 2014 awards finalists announced

The organisers of the 2014 Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services (ARBS 2014) exhibition have announced the finalists across all categories of its industry awards. The awards recognise achievements in the air conditioning, refrigeration and building services industry.

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner held during this year’s exhibition. The awards presentation dinner, hosted by comedian and actor Shane Bourne, will be held at the Savoy Ballroom at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on 21 May.

In addition to the awards presentation, five nominees will be inducted into the ARBS Hall of Fame in recognition of their significant contribution to the industry.

The ARBS 2014 industry award finalists are:

ARBS Young Achiever Award 2014

Outstanding Service and Maintenance Provider 2014

ARBS Product Excellence Award 2014

HVAC Project Excellence Award 2014

Refrigeration Project Excellence Award 2014

Outstanding Industry Education/Training Award 2014

  • Certificate IV in Drafting (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Services) ‐ AMCA
  • Web Based Training (Technicians) - Daikin Australia
  • Refrigeration Fundamentals Course ‐ Heatcraft

The Hall of Fame inductees are:

  • Alan Woodhouse - nominated by ARWA
  • Bill Siganto - nominated by AIRAH
  • Alan Obrart - nominated by CIBSE
  • Albert Watson - nominated by AMCA
  • Kevin Lee - nominated by AREMA
