SITA Australia has been awarded, for the second time in three years, the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Industrial Technologies Award for Waste Management Company of the Year.
The award is presented to the company that best demonstrates excellence in waste management, waste processing and leveraging off these technologies within the environmental industry.
Simon Lee, General Manager, Strategy & Sustainable Development, said, “SITA was recognised this year for demonstrating that it stands out from its competitors through a comprehensive offering of technologies and services targeted specifically towards the reorientation of waste towards that of a resource.”
Cindy Gan, Director, Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices and Events, advised that the award is not only presented to the company that proves best practice in waste management but “connotes the company’s commendable efforts in environmental protection and responsiveness to customer needs”.
The Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Industrial Technologies annual awards recognise best practices in industrial process control, electronics and security, energy and power systems, chemical, materials and food, measurement and instrumentation, and environment and building technology.
