Geotech’s AEMS is an automated extraction monitoring system used to measure methane (CH4), CO2, O2, with options for H2S and CO measurement.

Its technology enables continuous monitoring of biogas, landfill and other methane capture projects and the system is suitable for applications including digestion of food waste, digestion of farm waste and wastewater treatment works.

The system can integrate with additional instrumentation (such as flowmeters, thermocouples and control systems) to provide a complete on-site solution.
The gas analyser uses infrared sensors for reliability and accuracy. Data can be sent to a PLC on site or securely back to a web-based server.

Its benefits include: remote monitoring; verification of gas quality; easy to service; interface with remote data acquisition software; remote maintenance of system; assists process control; accurate data stored; on-site installation and training; 4-20 mA output option; auto-calibration and manual calibration check options; wireless communication; gas conditioning; accepts inputs from other electronic devices; clean air purge and zero; up to five gas sample lines per system; range of communication options.

Other suitable applications include: landfill; coal-bed methane; clean development mechanism (CDM); biogas; anaerobic digestion.
