HSM ProfiPack 400 cardboard waste converter

Tuesday, 23 March, 2010 | Supplied by: Renz Masterbind

The HSM ProfiPack 400 is a compact tabletop machine designed to convert cardboard waste into a packaging material for re-use. The waste cardboard is fed into the device which then instantly converts it into an interlaced weave pattern. The packaging material produced is non-slip, easy to bend and provides a good replacement for other types of packaging such as bubble wrap and foam beads.

Robust and durable, the German-engineered machine is designed using hardened cutting rollers made from a single piece of metal. The rollers are resistant to damage from paper clips and other soft metal items. The hardened perforating rollers and sturdy bearing plates provide reliable padding without bending, twisting or catching in the cutting unit to help ensure the equipment’s longevity. The unit’s sturdy sheet metal housing has been designed to withstand the tough operating environment of a dispatch area. It also features a measuring scale that allows users to quickly measure the width of the material.

Suitable for manufacturers, distributors and importers, the machine is designed to help users reduce costs associated with waste disposal of cardboard and packaging.
