The installation of a Straub pipe joint is claimed to be fast, simple and reliable with the compact product being simply pushed over the pipe ends and tightened.
The couplings are suitable for use in industries including: shipbuilding; water distribution; desalination plants; wastewater treatment plants; mining; pulp and paper; oil and other refineries; and food processing (air-conveyance of grain and flour, detergent and washing lines in breweries and dairies etc).
Straub pipe couplings are also used on fire mains, for dehydration tunnels, for heating or cooling, on fuel lines and in many other applications.
