The Evashred EV65E Multiwaste Shredder is a strong, durable machine which has the ability to shred high-throughput volume. Suitable for document destruction, paper and plastic shredding, its design is based on two previous models: EV45E and EV60E.
The EV65E has a higher volume throughput than the EV60, due to the slightly longer cutting chamber being 640 mm long and 375 mm wide. It has dual 15 kW drive motors, which are important when there is limited power available on site.
The shredder has a ‘stagger start’ feature, which can result in a reduction of current draw requirements on start-up.
As with Evans’s other model shredders, users have the option of various cutter widths: 8, 12 16 and 32 mm. Also, cutter material can be altered to suit a user’s shredding application.
The overload detection feature is built into all the Evans shredders to protect the motor and gearboxes. It reverses the machine’s direction in order to clear a jam.
Additional options include: in feed and out feed conveyors, force feed hoppers, and bin tippers.
