SEW-Eurodrive has expanded its NSW industrial gear-unit service facility. Located at Wetherill Park in Sydney's west, the purpose-built centre has been designed to optimise turnaround times for routine maintenance and emergency servicing of SEW-Eurodrive's Industrial Gear (IG) range of gear units.

The upgraded gear-unit service facility has an expanded workshop featuring an extensive range of service tools and equipment, as well as a team of highly qualified and experienced technical staff. It has been specially designed to fast-track the overhaul, repair and adjustment of the company’s complete range of large IG gear units, as well as standard geared motors.

According to SEW-Eurodrive's NSW industrial gear products manager, Kris Jaryn, the upgraded facility provides comprehensive support for the larger gear units favoured by Australia’s water/wastewater industry.

"Ready access to local servicing of larger gear units helps keep their equipment online longer," Jaryn said.

“Our team of gear-unit specialists are experienced in servicing and maintaining the complete range of SEW’s gear units and drive equipment, as well as the assembly, alignment and testing of new skid-mounted motor/coupling/gear-unit assemblies.”
