Waste weighing system

The VEI system is installed on a waste vehicle and it can monitor the exact weight of the waste collected. It can be coupled with existing waste management data collection systems to integrate data in one interface in the control room.

By lifting the bin, the weight is captured and memorised, together with the type of waste classification and driver's reference.

Typical installation on a waste truck is easy and fast. All the wiring is securely protected to assure good protection against the harshest of conditions. The load sensors are securely mounted on the lift arms of the truck, with specially designed deflection covers to help avoid damage from overhanging objects.

VEI instruments are designed to suit any modern truck cabin and body. The indicator's mounting bracket allows positioning to the desired viewing angle. The dual contact-less trigger allows the system to always display the weight at the same height of the lifting. The weight is displayed and automatically memorised when the lifting arm passes in front of the trigger.

The systems can be retrofitted in any model and make of waste collecting truck.
