The world’s largest solar PV manufacturer, Yingli Green Energy - which markets its products under the brand Yingli Solar - today announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with L&H Solar + Solutions, a subsidiary of L&H Group, the largest electrical wholesaler in Australia and New Zealand.

L&H Solar + Solutions will distribute Yingli Solar’s efficient PANDA monocrystalline PV products, as well as its high-end polycrystalline YGE PV products, to its solar partners and its network of more than 200 electrical wholesale outlets and over 30,000 electrical contractors across Australia and New Zealand. This will extend Yingli Solar’s presence into new geographical areas, reaching new users and forming relationships with L&H’s base of qualified solar installers.

Daman Cole, Commercial Director for Yingli Solar in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific, said, “Yingli Solar is proud to be working with L&H Solar + Solutions, a company that has a history and heritage that literally goes as far back to the days when electricity was first deployed in Australia.” L&H is in fact credited with being at the forefront of the industrial revolution in Australia, helping spread the use of electricity in homes and businesses.

“This partnership was a logical step, as we see enormous synergy between our brands,” continued Cole. “Yingli Solar and L&H Solar + Solutions are both focused on raising the bar on quality across the solar industry, increasing electricity yields through innovation and providing the highest return on investment for our customers.”

Yingli Solar has produced more than 26 million solar panels for homes, businesses and power plants. The company maintains a vertically integrated model and is the first to manufacture through a complete PV value chain from polysilicon to the assembly of PV modules, all in one site. Its solar PV panels have passed stringent international certification testing standards such as TÜV Rheinland.
