  • Aquacell modular water tanks
    The Aquacell modular water tanks are now available as a stand-alone product for commercial applications. Each rectangular tank holds 5000 L and is made of recyclable polyethylene. The tanks measure 1.2 wide x 2.5 long x 2.2 m high, making them suitable for tight-space applications.

  • Work continues at recycled water plant
    Construction continues on the recycled water plant at Fairfield that will provide recycled water to some of Sydney’s largest industrial water users as part of the of the NSW Government’s Sydney Metropolitan Water Plan. The plan has set targets to provide up to 12% of Sydney’s water needs through recycled water projects.
  • Rainwater harvesting system
    Grundfos Pumps’s head office, located in Regency Park, South Australia, has recently completed the installation of a rainwater harvesting system. The system comprises three 50,000 L tanks that collect rainwater from 1,500 m2 of roof catchment area.

    Black & Veatch has announced that Stage 1 of the Sembcorp Changi NEWater Plant (SCNP) in Singapore has started commercial operations. Black & Veatch provided full design engineering for the plant along with construction support and commissioning services.
  • Nestlé move saves millions
    A Nestlé Foods factory in Pakenham, Victoria, has just completed a water-saving project that is reported to save five million litres of water a year. Rainwater captured from the rooftops of three factory buildings is used to supplement mains water for the factory’s cooling towers.
