The Kobra ShredinaBin provides an alternative way to safely destroy a company’s or government department’s confidential and private information. Users can now shred directly into a standard 240 L wheelie bin and dispose of the waste safely.

Tyre shredder
The Evashred Panther industrial shredder is built by New Zealand-based company Evans Engineering. It weighs 3.5 tonnes, is 4.5 m long and stands more than 3.0 m high. The unit is driven by two 40 hp motors with 42,000 Nm of torque, and is designed to munch on truck and car tyres but can also be configured to shred any product.

Conveyor
Exair’s Heavy Duty Threaded Line Vac Conveyors convert ordinary pipe into a powerful conveying system for bulk materials including steel shot, metal parts, scrap and trim. Designed for rugged, industrial applications, it has a hardened alloy construction that helps prevent premature wear. The device features large throat diameters that make it possible to convey more material over long vertical and horizontal lengths. The conveying rate is claimed to be typically twice that of ordinary air powered conveyors.

Solids handling pump
Sykes' Olympic Pump Range not only pumps dirty water, but also performs the duty with fuel reduction in mind. The impeller, wear plate and volute have all been redesigned to give efficiency levels of 83%. Fuel is minimised through the pumps' ability to reduce engine/motor kW/hp size while still achieving maximum performance. The range of pumps is available with the Sykes Compressor Prime or 60 cfm Vacuum Prime, and sizes range from 80 (3") to 300 mm (12"). Sykes' Olympic 150 mm (6") pump can save up to 340 L of fuel per week.
