Commercial cleaning company Planet Earth has developed a range of colour-coded office bins to reduce the high level of contaminated recyclable rubbish collected from Australian offices.
Eco bins are a colour-coded waste system made up of four brightly coloured 60 L bins designed to make sorting office rubbish as simple as selecting the right colour.
Two smaller bins are included in the system: a blue wastepaper bin for under the desk and a red general rubbish ‘mini’ bin for the top of the desk, suitable for all other rubbish unsuitable for recycling.
Eco bins are made from corrugated plastic which, when compared to standard plastic, uses 70% less energy to produce. They are flat packed to make transporting easy and once delivered are quickly assembled and ready to use.
