Vector Energy promotes the Tesla Powerpack
As part of a series of roadshows being held throughout Australia, Vector Energy is showcasing developments in emerging energy storage technology and encouraging businesses to take greater control of their energy future with the Tesla Powerpack.
The first roadshow, held in Sydney last week, was launched by NSW Minister for Industry, Resources and Energy Anthony Roberts. Additional roadshows will be held in Cairns, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth throughout November and early December.
Vector Chief Executive Simon Mackenzie said the roadshow is an opportunity to highlight the company’s exploration of sustainable, renewable, low-emission forms of energy which are providing customers with greater choice and autonomy in how they manage their energy needs.
Vector recently opened the largest grid-scale Tesla Powerpack battery storage system in the Southern Hemisphere to be integrated into a public electricity network at its Glen Innes substation in Auckland, New Zealand. In Australia, the company is looking for opportunities in the commercial, utility and off-grid sectors to partner with businesses to create a new energy future.
