Atlas Copco ZE5/6 series low-pressure air compressors

Atlas Copco is continuing to build on its product portfolio of low-pressure air compressors and blowers. Its oil-free, low-pressure compressors are claimed to offer superior service intervals compared to many other products on the market, making them suitable for the replacement of older lobe blowers and other low-pressure compressor equipment.

The company’s low-pressure ZE compressors offer a constant airflow at minimal energy costs. Delivered ready for use, they can come as an all-in-one package including a fully integrated controller, aftercooler and variable speed drive (VSD). The compact design eliminates the need for extras and reduces installation to a minimum.

The ZE5/6 series is expanding the company’s range in the medium-pressure air compressor area. The series is an air-cooled, low-pressure, oil-free air compressor delivering energy savings of up to 35% with its built-in VSD. As an energy-efficient alternative to traditional low-pressure compressors, it is suitable for various low-pressure applications as well as bulk material handling.

The compressor is offered in two variants: one 2 bar option and one variant that delivers 4 bar pressure. It is comes complete with two integrated air-cooled oil coolers. Air-cooled aftercoolers are also available as independent modules.
